20/20 VISION

Changing People. Impacting a Community.

The Fe Viva Education Centre is a multi-educational training centre designed to improve the quality of life in the communities around Fe Viva. Through educational opportunities, classes, seminars, and programs the centre will provide training is such areas as:

1 - Bible School education for pastors and leaders

2 - First Aid, CPR courses

3 - Family Health and Infant care

4 - Teacher Training

5 - Food Safe Courses

6 - English as a Second Language

7 - Spanish as a Second Language

8 - Small Business (setting up and running successfully)

9 - Trades Training

The Education Centre itself will consist of several classrooms, library, dorm rooms and kitchen/eating area. There will also be a large courtyard to accommodate fellowship and leisure activities.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life, both physically and spiritually in the community at large and to help eliminate poverty by training leaders and families to help themselves. Lack of education is the leading cause of poverty. Our hope is to develop a working model for community education that can be exported to other communities throughout the country and Central America.

Phase One of the Education Centre project has been completed. This includes a large classroom, office, courtyard, restroom, well and tower. Phase Two is starting and requires $40,000 - $50,000 to see the whole project completed. (Three more classrooms, meeting rooms, accommodations for short term teachers, and dorms for long-term students.)

We will be offering several classes beginning February 2012.

December 2011 we began our 20/20 VISION Fundraising program.

We are asking individuals to give $20/month for 20 months to give one person an opportunity to improve their quality of life through education.

We also hope to establish several bursary or scholarship funds to help offset costs for students with long-term goals.
