Greetings from Kim & Lynn

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!

We arrived back in Guatemala last week.  It looks like we left Canada just before the cold and snow arrived with a fury. This is one of the busiest times of the year for Fe Viva Ministries in Guatemala.  We have close to 100 people coming on short term mission groups in the next 6 weeks.

Our missionaries and staff are always kept very busy at this time, and always do a great job.  The first team of the year returned to Nashville, TN, with glowing praise reports. The Nashville Team brought a lot of blessings for the people, as well as taking many blessings home with them.  People are thanking the Lord for the "good works" done to them through this team.

We are now preparing for the next two groups to arrive this Friday. It promises to be a great time, full of ministry and full of adventure. The Dental Team from Kindersley, SK, and the "Calling All Men" Team will work and minister together for a week.  After that we have a steady flow of individuals, ministers and families joining us to continue the work in Guatemala.

Lynn and I remain in Central America until the end of February. March, April & May will keep us busy with travel and ministry throughout Canada and the USA.  One key highlite of our ministry tour will be our annual Fe Viva Missions Conference. This year it will be held in Kindersley at Kindersley Christian Fellowship. We invite you all to join us at the conference from April 19-22, 2012.

Please pray for all the staff and missionaries of Fe Viva as they travel, minister and care for those in their charge.

Blessings to you all in 2012.

Kim and Lynn

Fe Viva General and Casa Esperanza Updates

Fe Viva General
These past few months have been busy with transition in areas of Fe Viva; generally overall and specifically with Casa Esperanza. It has been very encouraging to see the staff and the missionaries working  hard together. There has been some changes here on base and one of them is the setting in place of new Fe Viva Base Directors, Matt and Kerry Blacklock.  They have been partnering with Fe Viva since 2006 and have been the Missionary Leadership Training  Directors as well as base pastors over the last few years. This allows Kim and Lynn to spend more time in what God is leading them to do; more opportunity for travel to preach and raise funds/awareness in North America and  elsewhere. They will still be present in Guatemala 3-4 times a year, but for much shorter times. It is exciting what God is going to do in this new phase of ministry at Fe Viva. Please pray for everyone at Fe Viva and all that is happening. Your prayers are very important. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Fe Viva at: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 250 707-3283.
Casa Esperanza
Fe Viva would like to thank all those who have prayed and supported the ministry of Casa Esperanza over the years. It has been worth it all to minister to broken children here in Guatemala. Please continue to pray for Casa Esperanza as the “Tias”(aunties/workers) and the children are still in transition with the change of directors in the home. Fe Viva would like to thank all those on base who have stepped up and helped in many capacities during this time. The new director of Casa Eperanza in Dinora Villate. She is Guatemalan and Fe Viva’s/Casa Esperanza’s legal representative as well as the president of Fe Viva’s board in Guatemala. She has worked in the home for 4 years and in
doing a wonderful job in her new role. Please pray for her and all those who work in the home. In the October newsletter we will be giving more details explaining Casa Esperanza and what it does. Thank you once again for your prayers and support. Lives are being changed!
