Greetings from Kim & Lynn

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!

We arrived back in Guatemala last week.  It looks like we left Canada just before the cold and snow arrived with a fury. This is one of the busiest times of the year for Fe Viva Ministries in Guatemala.  We have close to 100 people coming on short term mission groups in the next 6 weeks.

Our missionaries and staff are always kept very busy at this time, and always do a great job.  The first team of the year returned to Nashville, TN, with glowing praise reports. The Nashville Team brought a lot of blessings for the people, as well as taking many blessings home with them.  People are thanking the Lord for the "good works" done to them through this team.

We are now preparing for the next two groups to arrive this Friday. It promises to be a great time, full of ministry and full of adventure. The Dental Team from Kindersley, SK, and the "Calling All Men" Team will work and minister together for a week.  After that we have a steady flow of individuals, ministers and families joining us to continue the work in Guatemala.

Lynn and I remain in Central America until the end of February. March, April & May will keep us busy with travel and ministry throughout Canada and the USA.  One key highlite of our ministry tour will be our annual Fe Viva Missions Conference. This year it will be held in Kindersley at Kindersley Christian Fellowship. We invite you all to join us at the conference from April 19-22, 2012.

Please pray for all the staff and missionaries of Fe Viva as they travel, minister and care for those in their charge.

Blessings to you all in 2012.

Kim and Lynn

Nicaragua Trip and Prison Graduations (Nicaragua and Guatemala)

November 17th to 22nd, 10 Guatemalan and Canadian ministers travelled to Nicaragua to minister in churches, visit Colegio de Fe Viva and celebrate the Prison Bible School Graduation at Tipitapa prison. It was an excellent trip full of celebration, miracles, healings, establishing new ministry connections and the Word of God being preached. We praise God for what he is doing in Nicaragua; a nation that is coming out of poverty and violence. We were able to preach in many churches and saw many healings. We visited with the teachers and administration of our school in Managua; Colegio de Fe Viva. It was excellent to see the success that they are having there, the new things that they are implementing and the renovations that are being planned.

The Prison Bible College Graduation was an important and special time as we saw about 50 men change their lives, succeed in their studies and for many of them graduate something for the first time in their lives. It was very important to see and very heart warming to know that God is at work. Redemption does work.

We also had a couple from Robert Morales' church, Celvin and Norma Marquez, come with us as they will be planting a church in Managua in the new year and establishing a Fe VIva base to better facilitate our ministry there. It will start off small, but we will now have a constant representative in Nicaragua that will only strengthen the ministry there; especially in the schoola and prison.
When we returned to Guatemala, we had the Prison Bible College Graduation in Canada Prison, near Escuintla. This was the 7th graduation and we had approximately 30 graduates from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years. It was a joy to see these men who we have known for many years grow into godly ambassadors. Thank you for support and prayers these last 7 years.

God Bless
