Short Term Missions Teams

Have you thought about serving the Lord by being part of a short-term mission's team?

Fe Viva (Faith Alive) World Missions has been taking teams into Guatemala and Central America since 1999 and we would like to invite you, your church, business, family to have athe experience of a lifetime. We will be glad to assist you in all the details of preparation and travel with you in a land filled with the revival fire of God.

Let us share some of the areas that teams can work in:

Education: Teaching/training Guatemalans (young and old)in:                                                                                                                                                                                                  Trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanics, welding, woodworking, etc.), English, sewing, cooking, sports, dance, art, First Aid, CPR, Food Safe, Biblical Studies, etc. in our Education Centre and/or Bible College.

Construction: Various mission teams have helped in the construction of our Bible College, building homes for families and our children's home, clearing land, painting, building bridges, doing electrical and plumbing. Missions teams make a lasting effect in the lives of Guatemalans and you can to.

Evangelism: We travel door to door in the area villages and visit families in their homes sharing the Gospel, praying for needs and giving gifts (clothes, toiletries, toys, etc.). We invite them to attend a special service where many find salvation and are healed of diseases. The team comes prepared to share at these services; performing dramas, skits, music, dance and testimonies. Our time is always filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Follow-up is always done by the local pastors who have invited us into their churches. They ensure ongoing discipleship for the new converts.

Medical/Dental Clinics: These teams impact the community through their gift of medical and dental support and service.

Children's Ministry: Children's services for the surrounding community are held when teams come to Fe Viva. we want to share the love of Christ with the children as we provide the good news of Jesus as well as providing gifts to the children.

Other Areas: Prayer, worship, street minsitry, prison ministry, drama, general maintenance, cleaning, landscaping/gardening, etc. are other areas where teams can participate in or specialize in.
