Bringing Education
Fe Viva is dedicated to showing Christ’s love to the people of Guatemala and the world. Through education, community outreaches, practical support programs, health initiatives, immediate disaster relief, and sharing the gospel, we are fulfilling the mandate that Christ gave to His church in Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”. In both word and deed, our goal is to share the Hope of Christ that is within us to a hurting people.

Guatemala Volcano Disaster Relief Report
Due to torrential rainfall during the month of June, significant and devastating floods affected several Guatemalan departments, with the areas along the Pacific coast being the most severely impacted. Multiple fatalities and injuries, thousands of evacuations, mass damage of crops and infrastructure all but crippled the country. Fe Viva provided much needed aid in many villages suffering from loss and damages. Partnering closely with ministries such as Shaddai Church and Third Day International Ministries, we supplied food, clothing, bedding, cleaning supplies, medical supplies, clean water, and physical help in many areas. Because of the generous contributions of our donors, the love of Christ was shown and the suffering of many people was alleviated. Thank you for your continued partnership through your finances and prayers for the people of Guatemala whose lives have been ravaged by this recent flooding.
May the Lord Bless You!
CONFESSIONS OF A MISSIONARY - LISTEN AND READ THE LATEST FROM GUATEMALA
Below is an article from ‘The Conversation newspaper in Antigua. It expresses what most of us are fearing. Pray for truth to arise and healing to begin. Pray for financial support to continue, it is greatly needed.
“In our interviews with victims of the Fuego eruption and the volunteers helping them, several people have complained that the Guatemalan government is reporting information they know to be inaccurate.
It estimates that 12,823 people were evacuated and 3,613 people placed in shelters. Weeks after the eruption, the official death toll remains at 110. Local residents insist it is much higher.
“The government gives these numbers to look like it’s in control,” one rescue volunteer told us. “We know they are lies. Thousands died and will never be found.”
Since the eruption, rain has regularly fallen across Guatemala, hardening the volcanic ash into something resembling concrete. Unless the government sends dozens of workers with heavy equipment, bodies will likely remain entombed where they fell.”
